Buddy Carp
Buddy Carp is a seasoned business broker and licensed real estate broker with extensive experience successfully selling Main Street and middle market businesses across a wide range of industries. Through Squizzero, Carp & Associates, his previous consulting firm, and various entrepreneurial ventures of his own, Buddy has worked directly with startups and established businesses alike, bringing extensive expertise in business sales, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, negotiations, financing, and exit planning to every engagement.
Before brokering deals, he built them. Buddy owned and operated liquor stores for many years, developing deep experience in the retail industry, and was honored as Retailer of the Year for the state of Massachusetts. He transformed a single retail location into one of the top five chains in the state. He also served as a longtime Board member and Past President of the Massachusetts Package Store Association.
Earlier in his career, Buddy was Cofounder and President of New World Technologies, a computer company recognized by Inc. magazine as the sixth fastest growing privately held company in America.
Buddy is an active member of both the New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). He is also a multiyear recipient of the IBBA Chairman’s Circle Award, most recently in 2025, for outstanding performance in business brokerage.
